All around our back garden
It's like The Somme in Winter
Back Garden Sub Borders
The Back Planter: Left
The planters were picked up from Ulnes Walton in 2021 and in the first year played host to some wonderful willowy ornamental grasses - probably Carex but don't quote me on that. However, what looked majestic and captivating in Summer fell into insignificance in Autumn and plain old scruffy in Winter, By Spring the grasses had been ripped out and replaced by some plants that I just can't remember!
The Back Planter: Right
The Fence Border: Left
The Raised Bed: Left
The Semi Circle: Left
Firstly, the semi-circle is no longer a semi-circle as in the summer of '23 Chris decided to make things tidier by extending the border to a basic rectangle shape - this is far easier to factor in mowing the lawn.
